The boot lever locks straight during insertion.
With the spiral fully inserted in the cork, the first step extracts about 7/8" of the cork.
Press the boot lever in and the second lever pulls the rest of the cork straight out.
Has the extendable four wheel "FOILKUT" system foil cutter.
Nickel plated spiral - 5-1/4" long

THE BEST

I have been a flight attendant for almost 37 years &  I have used many different of wine openers.   The Boomerang is THE BEST!   The foil cutter is great. Security at airports will not  allow wine openers with knives attached to them. I have had a few confiscated by the TSA.   This opener is really easy to use.  It is really convenient  to have the foil cutter & corkscrew all in one.  It has made my job so much easier!  I have purchased  quite a few for gifts and they are a real hit.
